EARBUS WINS PINNACLE AWARD
Earbus Foundation has been named 2017 winner of the Emerging Business Excellence category in the AIM WA West Business Pinnacle Awards held at Crown Burswood. The award for Emerging Business Excellence recognises organisations operating for less than five years who in that time have emerged as leaders in their field.
Entry to the award is open to organisations across corporate, government, community and not-for-profit sectors in Australia that have a significant footprint in WA and have achieved outstanding results that demonstrate leadership and commitment to excellence in business.
The $10,000 prize money will go to Starlight Children’s Foundation as Earbus’ nominated beneficiary. Starlight and Earbus have worked closely together since 2015 as Outreach partners in the Goldfields and Pilbara regions of Western Australia. Starlight Captains add sparkle and magic to the work of the Earbus Clinical Team by entertaining and engaging children who have a relaxed and enjoyable Earbus experience as a result.
In 2016 Earbus Foundation won the Community Group of the Year Award in the WA Regional and Community Achievement Awards.
OUR THANKS TO...
Earbus Foundation pays tribute to its amazing staff, board and volunteers who have contributed so much to its achievements in the past four years. A special recognition of our wonderful patron, Professor Harvey Coates AO, who first brought the Earbus concept to Australia in 2006. Our Chair, Carol Dowling and Board members provide ethical and high quality governance and leadership. Our success is built upon important and valuable partnerships with Starlight Children’s Foundation, SWAMS and Wirraka Maya AMSs, RFDS and schools, daycares and communities across regional WA. And finally, thanks to the amazing doctors, nurses, audiologists and nurse practitioners and ENTs whose tireless work is making children well all across the state.
Earbus Foundation congratulates the other winners, especially Adrian Fini named as the prestigious WA Business Leader of the Year in the only individual category of the night.
Other organisations to be recognised in various categories included some of WA’s most respected and successful companies - Wesfarmers, Horizon Power, RACWA, Bankwest, Hanson Construction and Hollywood Private Hospital.
Congratulations to all the worthy winners and finalists across all nine categories of achievement.
