EAR HEALTH SCREENER

Are you looking to make a difference in the community at a grass roots level? Are you systematic, thorough and creative? This role might be for you!

Earbus Foundation of WA (EFWA) is an award-winning children’s charity founded in April 2013. Our mission is to reduce the incidence of middle ear disease in Indigenous and at-risk children in Western Australia below the World Health Organisation benchmark of 4%. Operating from Perth, Western Australia, we provide a comprehensive range of hearing services to children and families in the Perth Metropolitan area as well as regional and remote communities, including ear screening of Aboriginal and at-risk children. We also deliver Newborn Hearing Screening (NBHS) to babies born in private Western Australian hospitals.

An opportunity has become available for an Ear Health Screener to join our Perth-based team. The role provides ear and hearing screening services to children in the Perth metropolitan and Southwest areas. Screeners are responsible for testing, data collation and reporting at the completion of each visit.
