Meet Lucy Mitchell

I graduated from university in 2015, but had not discovered my niche. I began casual work until I figured out some direction. Little did I know that casual employment would uncover a career I am really passionate about!

My interest in Audiology resulted from work as a Newborn Hearing Screener for Earbus. I heard about Earbus by chance and knew very little about hearing and ear health. Since voicing my interest towards audiology, Lara and Paul have been incredibly supportive in helping me explore this further! I have done outreach programs to the Pilbara and the Goldfields, been involved in research and relieved as Program Coordinator of the NBHS. The past two years with Earbus have given me great opportunities and motivation; hopefully, in the foreseeable future, I will become an Audiologist and continue this exciting adventure with the team!
