EarPort® Ready for Take-Off

Earbus Foundation, in partnership with global software giant Microsoft, is gearing up to launch an exciting new business intelligence data management software platform we have christened “EarPort”.  EarPort® captures all our clinical and client data and allows graphical and visual representation of every aspect of our clinical activity thus enhancing accountability, reporting and performance analysis.

Based on a high-end customisable Microsoft business intelligence database, EarPort® can drill down into all our clinical records and track site-specific as well as regional trends, and can also track individual children longitudinally. This provides Earbus Foundation senior management with the ability to classify each site by need and allocate resources accordingly.

EarPort® allows year-on-year comparison to show improvements in ear health across all sites and regions across a range of Key Result Areas. Earbus KRAs were developed and shaped by our 2015 Clinical Roundtable using the combined expertise of our ENTs, Audiologists, Doctors, Nurses and Nurse Practitioners who have been on regional Clinical Trips.
