Welcome Our New Board Members

Earbus Foundation of WA’s Board of Directors is pleased to welcome  three highly skilled and qualified new members elected at its 2016 Annual General Meeting in April.

Ear Nose and Throat Specialist, Dr Shane Ling has first-hand experience of the Earbus Program having joined the team on its trips to the Goldfields and done two surgery lists at Kalgoorlie Health campus.

Noongar woman Ms Rosemary Walley is currently undertaking a Masters degree at Curtin University focusing on middle-ear disease in urban communities and has extensive experience in the WA justice system.

Social responsibility Consultant Mr Craig Turley is fresh from a stint developing a health and education early intervention strategy for mining giant Rio Tinto in the Pilbara and is intimately aware of how poor ear health impacts on Aboriginal children and communities.

Earbus Foundation’s Board chairperson is Badimaya/Yamatji woman, Ms Carol Dowling, who lectures in Curtin University’s Centre for Aboriginal Studies. Mr Turley has been elected as Deputy Chair.
